A while back my friend (and all-around D&D/RPG extraordinaire) James Introcaso asked if I would help him visualize the setting for the adventure he was writing for the amazing D&D in a Castle. It was an absolute delight. Not only did I have a blast working on a map of one of the most well-known and loved environments in the history of tabletop roleplaying games, but getting a chance to imagine how chromatic dragons might have terraformed the world to their liking ignited my creative spark.
Oh, and if you want to utilize some of James’ work in your home game, do yourself a favor and pre-order his level 1–20 D&D 5e adventure.
Let me know what you think of the map in the comments below!
